There are many charities that are working hard to make our world a better place - for people, animals and the environment. Unfortunately, many health and medical research charities continue to fund animal experiments - some of which may even be conducted at your university. Animal experiments cause immense suffering and provide results that are of no genuine benefit to human health. Think carefully about which health charities you support. Find out which charities still fund or conduct tests on animals and instead donate to those that fund education or prevention initiatives, or that help people to live with a disease.
